Meet The Prince of Protocol!

From the fresh green acres of Kansas to luxurious black-tie affairs in Miami, Justin Trabert has had a front-row seat to the trends and topics that make the world buzz.

Trabert’s unique fashion, stylish coiffure, love of all things artistic and forward thinking could not be contained in a single city, so he packed up his match-set luggage and focused his sights on Chicago. During this first stop of his mad, mad, mad culturist life, he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Fashion Management from the prestigious Columbia College and became the co-owner of MGW Productions, a fashion and events production company.

Meshing his two loves — fashion and extravagant event production — gave Trabert a creative outlet. In 1999, at the tender age of 22, the Chicago Tribune proclaimed his fashion production, JUNGLE, as “One of the Top 10 Events” in the city that year.  This would become the first of many milestones in his life.

His success only amplified his appetite for culture and design. So, he headed where anyone with his sensibilities would naturally go: New York City.

Not wanting to go unnoticed, overlooked or discounted, Trabert joined the next big fashion eruption. While at Jeffrey New York — nestled in the gritty, yet ultra-chic Meatpacking District — Trabert refused to be a simple participant in the fashion pipeline. He distinguished himself as a trendsetting decision maker by assisting owner and entrepreneur Jeffrey Kalinski as manager and buyer — attending runway shows in Paris, Milan and New York to select the next season’ must-haves for men and women.

Wanting to combine his knack for fashion show production with life in New York, Trabert launched and executed the first ever Jeffery Fashion Cares NYC benefit. Its success continues even now, as the show raises in excess of $5 million for HIV and cancer related programs in the New York City area.

Fast forward, flash back and strut sideways to Trabert’s new position as National Brand Ambassador for the celebrated luxury silver company Christofle Paris in Miami, Florida. Honing in on his unique talents and love for entertaining, he blended his unique insight and approach to luxury marketing to create an experience-driven platform for Christofle, aptly titled  Art of the Table.

Aimed toward a younger generation, Trabert created a product fairy tale experience that informs and entertains. With Art of the Table, Trabert enlightens employees and clientele as he expertly navigates through the history of dining, entertaining and life’s little protocols, making it approachable for everyone. His creativity led to event collaborations with Ritz Carlton, St. Regis, SOHO House, Ruinart, Perrier Jouët Champagne and Moët Hennessy USA.

As National Brand Ambassador, Trabert has hosted and presented at various events throughout the U.S. and Canada. In cities like Los Angeles, Montreal, Miami, Boston, New York, Palm Beach, Houston and the Hamptons, Trabert has engaged audiences and generated a marketing buzz with feature articles and television spots that include the luxury publications Indulge Magazine and Pinecrest Magazine, as well as Channel 6’s “Into the Mix on 6” and Channel 7’s “Deco Drive.”

Looking toward the future, Trabert seeks to embark on a new adventure with the launch of his blog site www.artfulmatters.net where he will continue to inform, influence and entertain both kindred spirits and those curious about life’s protocols and just plain artful living!
